Stein and Vine

Opened in 2012 by husband-and-wife owners Ty and Lacey Mathis, Stein and Vine built its reputation in Brandon, Florida as a craft beer and wine taproom with a menu that changes daily under Chef/Owner Ty Mathis. Behind the understated 'Pub' sign, the kitchen turns out inventive pub fare — from the bacon-studded '33⅓' burger to the jalapeño-loaded Volcano burger and the house Pig Wings — paired against a rotating lineup of more than 40 craft beers and well over 100 bottled selections. The restaurant has become known locally as one of the area's most beer-devoted kitchens, even collaborating with Florida breweries like Coppertail on a second kitchen concept, and its small, chef-driven food menu has earned a loyal following well beyond the neighborhood strip mall it calls home.
